Please provide a summary of your project
Generation 17 action concerns the promotion of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Artists create work for a good cause, contributing to the necessary change of established stereotypes and attitudes. This is an initiative of the elculture platform that aims to utilize street art culture as a peculiar means of awareness and information. Specifically: A. Street artists become ambassadors of SDGs and create large murals for every Goal. The murals beautify buildings, neighborhoods and cities ,serve as a landmark and reference point, contribute to the upgrading of degraded areas and to the improvement of life in the urban environment. The colors for the murals are environmentally friendly, reduce carbon dioxide and help our cities breathe. B. Musicians and collectives of the rap and hip hop scene become ambassadors of the SDGs and create original songs for each Goal. The video clips of the songs will be distributed digitally while concerts are being planned. C. Production and distribution of material: 17 short documentaries with good practices of companies and organizations for each Goal, 17 video clips with the songs for each Goal.
