Description
We come up with an experimental study. The study, which aims to test and examine whether it is possible to apply structures that would break down our strong individuality, without the extreme of communism, find a balance for the creation of communities and connect people to the knowledge of co-operation of nature. A place in the middle of Prague, running water near seed bank. Gardens on the sun and fresh vegetables. A geodome with a forest looking across the bank. Amphitheatre. Community life.

II. DESCRIPTION OF THE PROJECT
Please provide a summary of your concept/ idea
For the territory of the Prague Libeň peninsulas, we are creating a new concept, which aims to change today's neglected environment. A significant architectural element is the theme of the seed bank, which together with the Farmers' Fair Palace we insert into the historic industrial premises of the former port warehouses. Another important element is the newly designed “Glass palace” - Geodom. It becomes a centre of science and research. It works together with the premises of a seed bank storing seeds of extinct or endangered species. In connection with the seed bank, we create areas where one can farm food without obligation - a community field near “Glass Palace”. Together with the management program, the reclamation of public spaces goes hand in hand. We suggest a playground or a place where one can have coffee or just rest. The natural component also has an important place here. On the northern tip of the island, a bird habitat with an area of 10,000 m2 is being created, which guides people through a "bird trail". The nature trail leads to exploring the life of birds. We conceived the whole island as a forest park by the water. We alternated between myths and larger units of vegetation. This structure offers a wide range of diverse activities that will find their users. An important visual and functional element are also the old ships. We make them accessible to people and create islands for children's play. They become an artistic intervention that reflects the history of the place and the ports that were here. In this work, we tried to create a floor plan of an ideal world and its functioning, which functions as an ecosystem together. Ecology and economics do not go against each other but support and complement each other as one system. Our design only gives real form to all our abstract goals and ideas. We play a game and look for a new ideal reproducible system. The typology of the new city of the twenty-first century. Libeň 21.

Community gardens form communities that expand the social spectrum. At the same time, it serves as a means of controlling one's own food. I know what I grow, I know what I eat. People get some independence and control over their lives. They grow, compost and have the opportunity to sell their offspring in the converted former shipyards. The main point for achieving the concept of sustainability is that the area is owned by the city. Currently, the areas belong to different owners, for whom it is more advantageous to rent the areas as warehouses. In the case of building public spaces, which could be personified in the form of community gardens, the people themselves will be responsible for maintenance and at the same time will help to cope with the global food crisis with their sprouts. Although they will help only to a small extent.
Please give information about the key objectives of your concept/idea in terms of aesthetics and quality of experience beyond functionality and how these would be met
We follow the character of the landscape and the typology of the place. Not only we are adding new functions to the structure of public space that contribute to local change. But we try to unite their character to work coherently. Each piece has its own special meaning in the mosaic. The main architectural element is an old building serving the ports of the Czech Republic. It is an impressive industrial space that deserves a restoration approach. We keep it in its original appearance, only adapting the internal layout of the new functional content of the farmers' fair palace and the background of the bank's seed. Glass, metal and concrete play the main material palette here. The place is attractive also at night, when theater performances, concerts or festivals take place on an urban scale. In the immediate vicinity of the main building there are also creative workshops, facilities for children and space for recycling. Across the peninsulas, we insert small architectural interventions that help all scenarios of social life. Design of a playground, skate park, cafes, amphitheaters by the water, shipyards or a trail to explore the life of birds. Glass Palace - Geodom is under the auspices of the science center, which invites the visitor to explore it. Jungle, mystery, beauty of nature. Impressive architecture in which fresh air circulates and accumulates heat. On the first underground floor there are lecture halls, which offer facilities for organizing public or schools seminars . We set out on a path of rather wild natural design, which appropriates the character of the current overgrown oasis of the peninsulas. In terms of landscaping, we work with all floors of the vegetation palette. We create action by meaningful management of the tree floor, which we supplement with the middle floor. And also the management of current grasslands, where we have chosen the sowing of herbaceous grass, which responds to current trends associated with climate change.

The Libeš Peninsula project aims to revitalize the bronfield. On the one hand, the place is highly attractive for the creation of a public park on an urban scale, but this is also confirmed by the fact that in this area of Prague, residents suffer from areas of public greenery. For these reasons, we are implementing the proposal here. It strengthens the social and economic value of the place. In our project, we set three main objectives 1. Cultivate and strengthen the visual and functional value of the area 2. Strengthen the economy of the place 3. Create a self-sufficient place/community in the centre of Prague 1. This is mainly about defining a suitable procedure for the restoration of architectural elements and the selection of a suitable visual character, which will connect the entire territory of the Prague peninsulas. We define functional areas that define the program for residents. A mosaic that creates a large range of public spaces but becomes a coherent public space. 2. Within the framework of economic profitability and independence of the whole project, we want to strengthen the prosperity itself and the positive influence with the local currency, which will guarantee the circulation of money in the given place and thus raise the local profit and prosperity itself. 3. Thanks to community management, ecological and economic aspects, a place is created where it is possible to grow your own crops or buy them in the farmers' fair palace. The money stays in place and supports local business. The whole system supports sustainable principles that aim to minimize waste associated with the food industry and thus offer purely natural products. The main goal was to create a meaningful project that will present a new possible way of life. Ways of life for which we do not have to give up our standard of living in order to start change and start solving global problems on a local scale.
Please explain the innovative character of your concept/ idea
We perceive an innovative approach mainly in the implementation of architectural elements such as the seed bank and the farmers' fair palace in the area of public space of such size and importance. With this approach, we try to show that the issues associated with such steps to address a common global situation can and must be addressed locally. With a big project, we want to publicize this social need to cooperate again with nature. To publicize the ordinary things that have surrounded us for centuries. Plants, animals, water, food. The visual character of the place follows the industrial spaces of the preserved buildings. We believe that innovation does not necessarily mean new construction. It turns out that it will be much more important to store and manage what we already have. Therefore, we preserve valuable architectural works and clear of unnecessary unsightly elements. In a gentle way, try to turn it into a place for a new life. The reason why we are depriving the current unsightly structures instead is mainly the connection of public spaces with the river. We take water as a phenomenon of place and also of the future. For these reasons, for example, water supply is becoming a big topic. We design wells in which machines are implemented that can structure the water and help to purify it, both outdoors and indoors. We are looking for a system of how to manage locally and how to live in the city again. How to gently begin to promote and address the topic of plant diversity loss. Also humanized large agglomerations and restoring them to man. We are looking for moderation and the right size. How big should the city, public space, agglomeration be so that it functions and is personified and inhabited by people.
Please detail the plans you have for the further development, promotion and/or implementation of your concept/idea, with a particular attention to the initiatives to be taken before May 2022
As students of the architectural school, we see potential in our future interest and position. Architects who solve problems and create better conditions and places to live, and not just people. It is one of the directions we want to focus on and promote after school. As students, we realized that it depends on everyone, but if more people come together with the same idea and different worldviews, the project is all the stronger. In our future life, we would like to focus primarily on research. We would like to research and communicate with people who are already knowledgeable in the field. To create projects that are not only nice but also functional, not only in the city environment but also in the open countryside. As for our current initiative, so far it is only reflected in the reach of social networks. We cooperate with a gallery that promotes thinking in the landscape and thus we get the issue into people's subconscious. We leave it up to them to decide how to get involved. Love of the landscape should be voluntary and desirable. We are also in contact with a researcher who studies and studies water structures. She passes on her knowledge and we can move our projects and think in a new direction. Our plan for next year is to address the mayors and authorities of smaller municipalities with the idea of providing research into the surroundings and proposing new innovative changes that would lead to adaptation to climate change and help the transition to a new world. We have decided not to wait for someone to challenge us, but to become the voice of revolution. Implement the idea of the project described above to a smaller community and examine its reproductive ability.
