An itinerary to bring vulnerable groups closer to the crafts that continue to be carried out in our
Description
La Sevilla de los Oficios (The Seville of crafts), is a project whose main objective is to bring together our heritage of arts and crafts with vulnerable groups. We consider that access to heritage is a right and normalises full inclusion in society. To this end, we will build an itinerary through inhabited places where craftsmen and craftswomen work, and we will develop as well a series of workshops that promote social cohesion and a shared sense of this heritage.

II. DESCRIPTION OF THE PROJECT
Please provide a summary of your concept/ idea
Throughout its history, Seville has been configured as a city where a diversity of productive activities such as craft trades have been concentrated. This has given rise to a particular configuration in terms of the intermingling of residences in neighbouring courtyards of shared housing, with the workshops of craftsmen and craftswomen and at the same time the coexistence with industries that have been taking over the city at different times. This heritage must be considered as a set of goods that form part of the heritage of our society and taking into account that society has an intrinsic right to enjoy it, and therefore its consumption must be shared by all members of a community without exclusion. As we have said, heritage must be enjoyed by all citizens, but we observe that on many occasions it becomes selective, as certain people are the ones who have access to knowledge of it and the institutions, despite being responsible for providing this tool, do not carry it out. That is why we want to serve as a bridge between people who belong to vulnerable groups and the goods that house the crafts of our Seville. Our project consists of two parts with which we wish to achieve the rapprochement we have described in the previous lines. In the first part we want, through an itinerary, to show these groups an area of the city where today we find industrial spaces reused to house workshops for cabinetmakers, painters or coworking spaces. We will visit points of interest where we will be able to see how the trades were carried out and how today these places have been reinvented, with hardly any modifications, to continue with these tasks in a new context. In a second part, we will organize few sessions with the aim of deepening the knowledge of what we have visited by creating an access to knowledge about what heritage is and to review the places we have visited in order to make the users aware of the richness of these places and their right to enjoy and respect them.
Please give information about the key objectives of your concept/idea in terms of sustainability and how these would be met
The project will aim at social sustainability, focusing on the development of social groups at risk of social exclusion by creating links between the heritage that belongs to us and their occupational concerns or cultural knowledge. In this way, strengthening the cohesion and stability of the populations. All of this always bearing in mind that our source of enjoyment and cultural resources, which this heritage represents, will be respected and cared for, and it will also form part of our idea to educate people to respect our tangible and intangible assets as the safeguards that we all are for their care and enhancement. The places to be visited during the itinerary are examples of sustainability in the city of Seville since they are spaces that, as we have pointed out, had their usefulness in the past and today, respecting the structures and always using sustainable materials, have changed slightly to accommodate traditional crafts or trades that have been reinvented without losing the tradition. They are also very good examples of citizen cohesion, since in these spaces that we will visit, creative people from different branches come together, willing to share not only a workplace but also spaces where they can live together, eat, chat, create, welcome and reach a consensus. We would like to add that in the workshops of the second part, we will take care at all times of the materials used, always paying attention to the minimum possible environmental impact. As environmentally conscious young people, this will be an imperative for us at every stage of the development of the idea and its implementation. Our idea will always keep the emphasis on the search for balance between the personal growth of those who participate, the respect for the spaces that form part of our itinerary and the well-being of these participants, the collaborators in the whole process and, of course, of ourselves, in order to maintain at all times a conscious and healthy management capacity.
Please give information about the key objectives of your concept/idea in terms of aesthetics and quality of experience beyond functionality and how these would be met
Both authors in this adventure and idea, we are passionate about the artistic and creative side of things, that's why providing an aesthetic in line with the project is intrinsic to us. We have knowledge of Graphic Design-Video Editing-Creativity, so working on taking care of visual harmony will be a priority, thus achieving aesthetic objectives that accompany in balance our main idea in terms of sustainability, social integration and cultural heritage.  When designing the complementary activities to this itinerary, we will focus on encouraging creativity and participants to discover this heritage of crafts (knowledge and the buildings where they are developed), through making handmade or similar pieces with their own hands.  Due to the early stage we are at in the development of the whole process, we have not yet invested time or resources in creating a logo, a website or a blog, but if our proposal is approved, we will do so. We will also create profiles on social networks to disseminate the plan. Faced with the uncertainty that may be caused by starting this whole journey, it will be good to create a tapestry in which we see society as a personal network that we conceive as a benefit that helps us to move forward and without forgetting that what we do we do to give a new meaning to our environment, to our heritage assets in our case and access to people who are excluded from their city due to the lack of doors that can be easily opened to understand their situation. We do not want to forget that we will prioritise at all times the promotion of collectivism, without forgetting how important it is to take care of each one of us, but in this idea we want areas of our city, that have always been a model of sustainability in terms of their organization, principles and values, to be enjoyed and known by people who are not offered the same opportunities.
Please give information about the key objectives of your concept/idea in terms of inclusion and how these would be been met
To promote socio-cultural inclusion of vulnerable groups and/or those at risk of social exclusion. It will be carried out through the elaboration of an itinerary through "La Sevilla de los Oficios" which will include workshops/activities directly related to this route, where they will learn the real values to adapt to changes and continue fighting for a dignified life, they will also learn new ways of seeing culture as the itinerary we propose is usually difficult to access for these groups. They will learn to see the Seville of the crafts, to see what is inside the well-known X neighbourhood and where the oldest trades come from, they will discover what new hobbies to do and what interest awakens when they enter this world. To create enthusiasm and motivation in the participants. Through a specific programme designed for each participating group, we will try to connect with people through links that we will create to transmit positive emotions and serve as a learning experience. We will create a connection between the cultural heritage and the people who participate. To provide people at risk of exclusion with a different opportunity to enjoy Seville's cultural heritage. Groups at risk of exclusion need to be and feel part of the society that can enjoy culture with easy access. That is why this objective will provide these groups with the necessary inclusion so that they can discover a new part of culture that is not usually taught. To act from a gender perspective. Nowadays we have the duty to fight against all kinds of inequalities, be they economic, social, cultural or gender-based. That is why we must try to take care of the perspective from which we look at the world. Our project will therefore be involved in developing with a gender perspective, always promoting empowerment and awareness.
Please explain the innovative character of your concept/ idea
In today's globalized, updated and gentrified world, we think of our project from a more local perspective, going back to the beginnings, to history, to the origin. Our intention is for people from groups at risk of social exclusion to be part of this origin, as well as the future and the current changes in society. That is to say, that they get involved and get to know in first person the essential resources that have created what the city of Seville is today, since, after researching on this point, there is almost no one that brings these groups closer to the cultural heritage and the trades that have been fundamental for the evolution of society as closely as this project will do. Starting from clear and enriching objectives so that these people can touch and feel history with their own hands and rediscover the creative, artisan, creative and hard-working Seville. The accessibility of these groups to the cultural heritage of our city is something innovative and very attractive for the launch of this project which, if we manage to get it off the ground, we are sure that it will have a significant socio-cultural impact on Seville and its surroundings. The fact that a space is public does not automatically create a shared sense of place, which is why this requires a process of working to create and foster a sense of belonging and community. We therefore hope that these spaces for artisans and makers can become an inclusive heritage, at least in terms of knowledge and enjoyment, taking into account those at risk of social exclusion. We feel a social responsibility to unite and connect our heritage with vulnerable groups, as there is a big lack of this type of initiative in our community and country. Access to heritage is a right and normalises full inclusion in society.
Please detail the plans you have for the further development, promotion and/or implementation of your concept/idea, with a particular attention to the initiatives to be taken before May 2022
First of all, the first step is the development of our idea and the clarification of all the convenient points to be carried out. Afterwards, it will be necessary, by means of a list previously studied through an exhaustive search, to contact the various associations/organisations/federations of vulnerable groups that are interested in participating in our project. The steps to follow are detailed below: 1. Contact with associations for two purposes. To implement the idea of this itinerary and to create initial links based on getting to know them, creating contact and listening to their needs in the field of cultural activities in case we can continue to be active in the future, working fully on other initiatives. 2. Contact with the places on the itinerary that need prior permission for the visit or if someone from there facilitates the visit or explanation. Use this as an opportunity to create a list of contacts and to be connected with places that want to collaborate for future opportunities. 3. Frequent meetings between the partners for the organisational calendar and production of educational and creative activities. In the meetings also work on creating material for social media and work on the aesthetics of the idea. 4. Implementation (Introduction, Itinerary and Workshop) The itinerary of "La Sevilla de Los Oficios" will be elaborated, which will previously have an introduction, and then the activities that will accompany it. 5. Final report. Evaluation of results. At the end of our project we will elaborate a final report detailing all the events that took place during our adventure in this project, including digital material to visually accompany the descriptions made in the report. On the other hand, the results of the project will also be evaluated and the possibility of being able to continue with our idea in the near future and be able to set ourselves as an organization to continue with this work.
